Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Rollit ("Rollit", "we", "us") governing your use of rollit.site and its features (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service. By using it, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you are able to form a binding contract.
2. Your account
- You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your login credentials secure.
- You agree to provide accurate information and to choose a username that does not impersonate others or infringe anyone's rights.
- Notify us promptly at support@rollit.site if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
- You may delete your account at any time from Settings.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Post content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or that infringes others' intellectual property or privacy;
- Post spam, scams, malware, or unsolicited advertising;
- Manipulate ratings, scores, predictions, or rankings — including using bots, fake accounts, vote rings, or other artificial means;
- Attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours, or probe, scan, or breach the Service's security;
- Scrape, harvest, or bulk-collect data from the Service except as expressly permitted;
- Overload, disrupt, or interfere with the Service or the systems of our providers;
- Misuse the connected third-party APIs (such as TMDB) in violation of their terms.
4. Your content
"Your content" means anything you submit to the Service — ratings, reviews and hot takes, predictions, Frames, comments, lists, and profile details.
- You keep ownership. You retain all rights you have in your content.
- License to us. You grant Rollit a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute your content solely to operate and provide the Service (for example, showing your public posts to other users and including your ratings in aggregate scores). This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for reasonable backup copies and anything others have already re-shared or that must be kept by law.
- Responsibility. You are solely responsible for your content and represent that you have the rights to post it and that it does not violate these Terms or the law.
- Public by design. Some content is visible to others depending on your privacy settings, as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Third-party content and services
Movie and TV information, posters, and trailers are provided by third parties, including TMDB and YouTube. This content belongs to its respective owners, is provided for informational purposes, and is subject to those providers' terms. Rollit does not own this material and is not responsible for it.
6. Our intellectual property
The Rollit name, logo, and the design, layout, and original software of the Service are owned by Rollit and protected by law. Except for your own content and third-party material, you may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service without our permission.
7. Moderation & termination
We may review, moderate, remove, or restrict content, and we may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, harm other users, or put the Service at risk — with or without notice where appropriate. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as content licenses already granted, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will survive.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and availability. Ratings, scores, predictions, and recommendations are community-generated and for entertainment only; we do not guarantee they are accurate, complete, or reliable. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rollit and anyone involved in operating it will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Because the Service is provided free of charge, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the past 12 months (which is typically zero) or USD 50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rollit from any claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or the rights of others.
11. Changes to the Service & Terms
We may modify or discontinue features of the Service at any time. We may also update these Terms; we will update the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide more prominent notice. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the competent courts of Israel will have jurisdiction — except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence provide otherwise.
